Statement of Need
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the well-being of the both the healthcare provider and the patient. This three-hour webinar is designed to address these patient safety issues during COVID-19 using an expert international faculty. Attendees will learn about the latest issues in patient and healthcare provider safety including burnout, leadership in a crisis, coping with lack of equipment, challenges in safety and quality during COVID-19 and collection of COVID-19 related quality and safety data.
Target Audience
Anesthesiologists, residents, medical students, and other anesthesia providers from all over the world and other clinicians who are interested in perioperative medicine.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify pathways to improve outcomes for patients and communities.
- Assess opportunities for research into quality and safety improvement.
- Translate international concerns on quality and safety of care into effective action.
- Evaluate methods to foster effective innovation in quality improvement and patient safety.

Această misiune nu ar fi fost posibilă fără implicarea profundă și neobosită a Asociației #VoluntariFaraFrontiere, condusă de domnul Petru Ioan Gabor, dedicat în mod exemplar sprijinului pentru Ucraina, ce realizează aproape bisăptămânal transporturi umanitare în zonele afectate.
